USAF Band At The Smithsonian
It started as a normal day in the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center.
But then a musician walks through the crowd and heads begin to turn. Children curiously congregate and look on in amazement. That’s when they realize that she’s not alone. What’s going on? It’s the United States Air Force Band that has formed a Flash Mob for the holidays to bring entertainment to all!
They are wonderful. I wonder if they could perform this to citizens in the small towns in rural america. Places that have never experienced seeing performances from a complete orchestra or band. It should be a project of the different branches of service of the military. To perform in the towns that have not once seen them perform but have provided their young residents to serve in the military. It was priceless to see the beam of joy on people’s faces, especially children. Their service, as always, is greatly appreciated!
